Furniture drive for refugees

We’re inviting Centrepointe residents to donate high-quality used furniture and household goods to assist the refugees coming to Canada in the near future.

The items will be donated in bulk to Matthew House Ottawa, which provides refugee services and operates a “furniture bank”. They are looking for household furniture (beds, dressers, couches, chairs, tables, mirrors, etc.), kitchen things (pots and pans, small appliances, complete dish sets, utensils, etc.), and textiles (clean bedding, area rugs, curtains less than 5 years old, etc.).

Donations will be accepted until December 2, 2015. Pick-up can be arranged.
