Centrepointe Park Spring Cleaning 2019
Help Clean Up Centrepointe Park – SUCCESS!
Comments from residents:
We had a great day with blue skies for the Centrepointe Park Cleanup.
Special thanks to Greg for organizing today’s park cleanup.
Great job everyone!

Comments from the organizer:
Thanks Les for sending that out.
The event was a success and we had probably about 20-25 volunteers show up, and we created a full trailer of garbage. Notable again this year was the amount of firework garbage from the New Years festivities.
The count was about half of returning volunteers and half of new recruits. I had 3 students show up to get their volunteer hours, and another 4-5 who are starting Grade 9 next year and want to come back in the fall to get their high school volunteer hours.
Thanks everyone for your help and for putting the flyers up again this year. Time for the flyers to come down and the ones for the Garage Sale to go up.
On a personal note, I will be less involved in Scouts this fall and will have the time to run the cleanup again then.
